About James Roberts-Thomson
Mr Roberts-Thomson lives in Devonport and works as a Specialist General Surgeon in North West Tasmania.
James spent his childhood at Table Cape in North West Tasmania. He studied medicine at the University of Tasmania, and after obtaining his medical degree worked in Adelaide, Darwin, the United Kingdom and South Africa, before returning to Tasmania in 2004.
James has a broad interest and skills in general surgery including:

Outside of hospital work, James enjoys church related activities and is a member of Rotary Devonport North. He likes to keep fit and enjoys running, cycling, swimming, triathlons, rowing, bush walking and mountaineering.
